Cancer Full Moon - Monday January 13 2025
I don’t know how to express my overwhelming sadness for the planet right now! We are being blessed with both the kindness of the eternal mother from the energies of this water sign moon, and all full moons come to us with the added dimension of Mars, retrograde and conjunct this full moon. This is the intensity of state of the planet earth at this very moment. Through the Earth herself we know that in many ways we will never be the same again! In these Cancer energies we are making a commitment to our potential for thinking more for ourselves, thinking out of the box, showing compassion and understanding about and for those seeing reality from a very different perspective, and through Mars, now retrograde in Cancer, and conjunct this moon, we must each be aligning with the higher octave of Pluto, now resonating with it’s alliance to Aquarius, we are need to trust the inner guidance.
The forest fires in California are bringing to all of us an ability to know that for many people, life will never be the same. We’ve been through many crises throughout the years, and this one will be showing us how we must join each other in how we see ourselves collectively in a very expanded and charitable future. We are also being prompted by Uranus, sextile to the moon, and Neptune, trine it, and allow both a way to show us how to grasp details from both a broader and higher point of view. This is very important that we don’t succumb to who gets blamed and shamed, but instead, how can we all infuse the planet in love and light, from everyone to everyone. This is all about being a part of a collective. There is no elite, there is no oligarchy. That isn’t possible, so we all must release ourselves from that as a reality!
Pax is the Roman goddess of peace; she urges us to keep harmony among one another as a sacred commodity throughout the year. On coins, Pax appears youthful and often bears an olive branch to extend the hand of truce or a cornucopia, indicating that there is an abundance of peace for those who truly seek it.
